Session 1. The Internationalisation of fleet

08:30 - 9:30  Unlocking the benefits of an international fleet strategy

Managing a fleet is often done locally, but when you have subsidiaries and activities in various countries setting up a regional/international strategy can lead to multiple benefits. For example cost efficiency, harmonisation, and transparency can be generated.

But how to develop the right Latam strategy and policy for your fleet? In this session 3 fleet managers will detail the do’s and don’ts of a Latam wide fleet programme. What are the building blocks of their fleet strategy with attention for the elements that are regional wide and those that are locally driven and steered? In this session you will learn from the best.

Case study presentations by

  • Kevin Kibilds, Fleet Manager, MSD

  • Alberto Arellano, Facility & Fleet Jr. Manager, Nestlé

  • Andres Arias, Principal, Digital Transformation – IoT, Neoris (a Cemex Subsidiary)

09:30 - 10:00  Benchmarking your fleet to identify the right car policy

To stay competitive, it’s important to have a fleet programme and employee benefit policy that is at the height of what your competitors are offering. In this session you will be informed about the eligibility of fleet vehicles in Latin America. Also insights into the leasing budget, cash allowance comparisons and differences in vehicle fleet policies according to industry activities will be given.

Expert presentations by

  • Javier Brassel, Associate Director Talent & Rewards, Willis Towers Watson

  • Regina Granados, CEO, LeasePlan Mexico

10:00 - 10:40 Insight into fleet sales and the fleet organisation of car manufacturers

Detecting and selecting the right car manufacturer(s) for your fleet depends on the one hand on internal criteria like your policy with characteristics around performance, green and safety, your business objectives and the profiles of your drivers, and at the other on external factors like the offering, the fleet services, the geographical scope and the organisation of the car manufacturers.

In this session we will detail car fleet sales market specifications, with a view on trends (powertrain, connectivity, safety equipment) and an insight into the fleet sales organisation of car manufacturers in Latin America.

This session will introduce the general landscape regarding vehicle insurance and provide examples of specific insurance services dedicated to businesses and corporate fleets.
